Why You should use Static Mixers

There is a significant difference between fads and trends. When considering all the benefits of a static mixer: no clogging, no maintenance, low energy cost, significantly low space requirements, and long lifespan, then it seems like more of an evolution than anything else. Static mixers are a drastically more convenient method than mechanical mixers and also do the job better, which is why we at Komax have taken this concept and applied it all throughout our product line.

Static Mixers can be applied to all situations and are highly versatile. We have made adjustments and additions to our concept in order to complete a wide variety of functions. Our triple action static mixer is our basic model and we can add polymer injectors, heat exchangers, Teflon or Kynar coating, and sanitary options, all while including a flow straightener to drastically decrease the need for additional downstream pipe. This bread and butter of our product line has replaced high-shear and high-maintenance mechanical mixers in tons of industries, all while improving outputs and fixing problems.

Our static mixing technology finds its way all throughout our product line. Even our heaters use this mixing process in order to evenly distribute heat. Our desuperheaters use the patented Equalizer Module to distribute steam, the Scepter Tank Heater works extremely well in large volume tank environments, and the Inline Steam Heater works much better than any other options with its mixing module. All of these heaters are much more efficient, eliminate vibrations and buffeting, work better within a production system, and can work at veritable flow or volumes.

All of our products at Komax look to create efficiency through static design. This has become our specialty and time and again we are looked to by various industries for creative and better solutions.
