To most people, how CO2 gets in their soda or beer is not a question definable by science, but instead purely magic. Those folks in the business of carbonation know this isn’t true, but with the Komax CO2 Injector, you can get pretty close to a mystic process.
Our CO2 Injector works much better than other options because it combines our renowned static mixing prowess with an extremely highly porous gas injector. The two work together in an almost magical dance that some may choose not to question. We’re not afraid to show you though, here’s how it works:
CO2 Injection– Our 20-micron porous injector is a leading standard in the size of bubbles for CO2 ozone adjustment. This means that we don’t stop where other injectors do. Our product transform micro-sized bubbles into micron-sized bubbles, resulting in an astounding 22 times increase of gas to liquid contact. This means multiplied CO2 surface area, thus setting the scene for effective mixing
CO2 Mixing– After the injection of CO2, the combined products enter our flagship Triple Action Static Mixer to ensure complete integration. The full radial, wall-to-wall distribution of CO2 within the product also means there are no gaps with CO2 integration, providing a perfectly mixed product. This extremely extensive mixing process guarantees a long lasting product, and one that will far surpass other methods.
Getting this same result from mechanical mixers would mean a much more expensive and intensive process. These options are limited by narrow diameter piping. They also require an enormous energy input in order to effectively mix CO2 with a propeller. Using our Komax CO2 Mixer, this process will require 95% less energy, last up to 20 years, require no upkeep, and provide greatly increased contact between the inputs. So when you ask what’s so great about our CO2 mixer, it’s hard for us not to be a little boastful.
