Ozone is something everyone has heard about. It is just one of the several elements that surround us. Ozone is made of three atoms of oxygen, unlike air that is made of two atoms of oxygen. Ozone makes up the ozone layer, which is responsible for protecting earth from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun. The ozone gas that is naturally occurring at normal temperatures and pressures usually has a strong odor, and this helps in killing bacteria, viruses, and germs. This is done with the help of an ozone mixer.

Ozone that is used for industrial uses is usually produced artificially from the available oxygen in air, or by concentrating oxygen. This ozone is then dissolved into water, or used as a gas for a several industrial applications.

Komax ozone mixer

Komax Systems Inc is one of the few companies that manufacture ozone mixers. The use of ozone for industrial applications is very new, and not every manufacturer has caught on with the technology yet.

Ozone mixing is often an important part of the manufacturing process in many industries, and this cannot be done without an ozone mixer.

This is a motionless mixer whose main purpose is to inject ozone into another liquid or gas. Komax Systems Inc is the most famous producer of industrial ozone mixers today with supplies around the world.

The patented 20 micron porous ozone injector by Komax has been built for injecting micro size ozone bubbles into another liquid or gas. The company also claims the mixer will hardly require servicing in its 20 year lifetime.

Industrial use of ozone mixer

There are several industrial applications of the ozone mixer, and several more should come in future. Some of them are:

Laundry: Industrial laundry requirements are far greater than households. This is why ozone has started to be used for chemical savings and cost savings.

Fire restoration: This one of the most popular uses of ozone, for getting rid of the smell of smoke after a fire has died down. Ozone has odor destruction properties that help in this regard.

Water treatment: Another popular use of ozone is water treatment, used across North America. Disinfecting and purifying water can be done easily with the help of ozone.

When it comes to ozone mixers, there can be no alternative to the Komax ozone mixer. They always offer the utmost efficiency and performance.
