PTFE, PVDF, & Polypropylene Lined Static Mixer

PVDF Lined

PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) lined piping is a highly effective material used for its corrosion-resistant properties when handling corrosive fluids. While PVDF lining is most commonly paired with carbon steel, it can be applied to any metal material of choice.

PVDF, also known as Kynar®, is a highly durable plastic with exceptional chemical resistance. The purpose of the lining is to protect the metal piping from chemical corrosion, ensuring the longevity and performance of the pipeline. However, it should be noted that PVDF-lined piping is not suited for high-temperature applications. We offer custom PVDF lined static mixers.

Despite this limitation, PVDF lined piping can be utilized in various industries, including chemical processing, water treatment, pulp and paper and pharmaceuticals, among others. The versatility of PVDF lined piping, coupled with its ability to resist corrosion and extend the lifespan of piping systems, make it a popular choice for many industrial applications.

Teflon® Lined

Teflon® lined piping, also known as PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) lined piping, is a highly effective material for combating corrosion caused by corrosive chemicals. This material is most commonly paired with carbon steel, but it can be lined on any metal material of choice. Teflon® lining offers exceptional resistance to a wide range of corrosive chemicals, including sulfuric acid, making it a popular choice for many industries.

While Teflon® is incredibly useful in combating corrosion, it should be noted that Teflon® lined piping is not suitable for high-temperature applications. We offer custom PTFE lined static mixers.

Teflon® lined piping is commonly utilized in various industries, including water treatment, pulp and paper, biofuels, chemical processing, oil and gas, and pharmaceuticals, among others. The versatility of Teflon® lined piping, coupled with its exceptional chemical resistance and ability to extend the lifespan of piping systems, make it an excellent choice for a variety of industrial applications where corrosive chemicals are present.

Polypropylene Lined

Polypropylene-lined piping is a cost-effective solution for industries that require chemical resistance in their piping systems. This material can line any metal material, making it a versatile choice for many applications. We offer custom polypropylene lined static mixers.

Polypropylene, also known as PP, is a thermoplastic polymer that is highly resistant to many types of chemicals, including acids, alkalis, and solvents. This makes it a popular choice for industries that require effective chemical resistance in their piping systems, such as water treatment plants.

Polypropylene-lined piping is commonly used in water treatment applications due to its resistance to corrosion and ability to handle harsh chemicals. This material is also lightweight, which makes it easy to transport and install.

Overall, the cost-effectiveness and chemical resistance of polypropylene-lined piping make it a popular choice for a variety of industrial applications where chemical resistance is critical.
