The most complete humans have 20 digits, two arms, two legs, one head, and an infinite amount of other places that can be subject to injury. That is a lot of things to worry about, especially when working around machinery for half of your day.
An Uninjured Workforce is a Happy Workforce
Implementing Komax products into production, waste treatment, and food processing industries means that companies will save money and produce top quality outputs, but the bottom line for any company should be employee safety.
Three issues Komax has worked to fix and ultimately eliminate are: clogging, mixing, and maintenance problems. If a system is completely automated and self cleaning, there really won’t be any need for dangerous hands-on situations.
Automation- Many of our products are used to replace a highly hands-on process like batch mixing. With static mixers, there is almost no need for workers to get their hands near dangerous equipment because: 1- the workers won’t have to touch anything and 2- our products eliminate moving parts completely.
Maintenance- One of the biggest issues with moving parts systems is their tendency to break down. When this happens, workers need to disassemble large systems and weed out what is wrong. Often times this is caused by a jam somewhere, and clearing that jam can be very dangerous. This is a thing of the past with our non-fouling, no maintenance components.
Cleaning– Intricate systems with moving parts and nooks and crannies are always subject to cleaning, ESPECIALLY if this is for food production. Komax products create a continually cleaning environment with the existing liquid flow, and also allow for extremely easy and effective clean-in-place methods.
Implementing our components should not be seen as a singular fix to a problem like jamming or maintenance. Instead, remember that everything we put into designing our products is a culmination of the entire production process as a whole.
