Rounded end caps that are welded or fastened to the ends of cylindrically shaped pressure vessels, typically made of metal such as steel or aluminum, tank heads are used to close and seal the ends of a tank, providing a pressure vessel with a secure and stable enclosure.

We are able to manufacture tank heads out of almost any material! Just provide us with the specification you are requiring and we will be sure to produce your product to your desired specs! Because some materials take pressure differently and are less sturdy when it comes to the flanging process, we must quote on a best-effort basis for some of the more unique materials. In our shop we are able to produce tank heads with an OD ranging from 24" - 120". We are able to create high crown, dished, and flanged heads but are unfortunately unable to craft 2:1 tank heads at this time.
