Our heating and mixing components at Komax Systems are designed with the accuracy and consistency of a microchip. We do not, however, focus solely on becoming smaller and more compact. While many of our mixers and heaters can be very small, we also deal with very large problems.
Some of our smaller triple action static mixers have been used for sludge and slurry mixing with no fouling problems. They embody the notion of ‘working tirelessly,’ as they can continually output a steady stream of mixed material with no breaks or problems. Many times, these small mixers take on tasks previously handled by a team of large vat mechanical mixers. In this case, the size of a mixer is only what it needs to be, and that is usually quite small.
On the other hand, some of our clients require extremely large mixers like that for water treatment mixing. Some specific mixers are up to 96 inches in diameter and have a flow rate of 150 millions of gallons a day.
Our Severe Duty Inline Steam Heater is another place where precision does not mean small. This component retains the beautiful performance of our regular steam heaters but is fit for use within intensive industries like bitumen froth mining.
Our continually high performance within variable sized components is also underscored by the ability to work at drastic rates of flow. Especially within our heaters, temperature accuracy remains the industry standard with incredible turn down rates. This means that temperature will be perfect whether moving at maximum speed or just a slow trickle.
Working beautifully within a specific environment is great, but why not keep this level of excellence throughout different conditions. At Komax, we know industry has infinite facets, all of which need components for heating and mixing, which is why we develop systems for all needs.
