Striving for energy efficient technology can be costly and much more work than conventional methods. We don’t see why this has to be the case though. These three products exemplify success in conservation:
Teflon and Kynar Lined Static Mixers
These are an ideal solution for neutralizing wastewater from power plants. The affluent from energy production is a basic liquid that needs to return to a neutral pH before treatment at sewage plants by being combined with acid. A Komax Lined Static Mixer accompanied with an injection port can complete this process with little to no floor space, electricity, and maintenance. These resistant mixers can turn a relatively extensive process into nothing more than a side note. Additionally, the precision of the mixer requires much less acid than conventional methods to reach the same pH.
Desuperheater
Just as computers become smaller and more advanced, so too is everything Komax produces. Their desuperheater system is much more accurate than previous methods and uses no moving parts. The Komax Equalizer Mixing Module uses a low-pressure water injector to transform superheated liquid into a form that is easily useable. This mixer requires significantly less downstream piping to the point of use and also works at exact temperatures so there is no waste from overheating.
Direct Steam Heater
Heating liquid can be one of the most energy intensive processes and also a limiting factor in production. With Komax’s Inline Steam Heater, any amount of liquid can be heated instantly within the process of production and use 30% less energy than other systems. Using this unique technology, no moving parts are required, maintenance is low, and since any amount of water can be heated there doesn’t have to be any waste.
Komax systems utilize static mixing and precision technology for less energy intensive processes and an exceptionally cheaper overall system.
