The
Komax Hypo-Chloride make up system uses inline
static mixers to replace large, high
maintenance, tank type hypo make up systems.
50% caustic solution is injected into a
4" diameter 316 stainless steel static
mixer where it is mixed and diluted down to a
10% concentration. The diluted caustic
solution up-flows where chlorine gas is
injected at the input tee. Fine bubbles of C12
gas are mixed into the main caustic stream by
the two section Komax static mixer. The Komax
Kynar lined static mixers contain a series of
solid Kynar mixing elements. This compact
system has proven to provide improved
gas/liquid contacting over standard tank type
make up systems. Komax Hypo units have been
installed in Georgia Pacific and International
Paper mills.
Production:
Four
inch diameter static mixer system.
Hypo
solution output: 180 gpm to 250 gpm
